Georgetown University offered me a unique and enriching experience to grow as global leaders and gain valuable business and technical skills. Additionally, I had the chance to join various clubs, including the Graduate Marketing Association, Georgetown Technology Club, and Latin American Business Association. Through participation in these clubs, I attended different events which helped me to stay up-to0date of the latest trends and developments in my field, and expended my network by meeting people from diverse backgrounds and interests.

As part of my Business global experience, I had the opportunity to work first-hand on a specific business challenge for Dogpatch Labs. My team and I presented our findings and recommendations in its headquarters in Dublin, Ireland. It was a rewarding experience to be able to apply my skills and knowledge to provide potential solutions to the challenge, and to receive feedback from an experienced industry professional.

One of the highlights of my experience in Graduate school was being part of the service committee, where I coordinated and executed two events alongside other members of the committee. Through our efforts, we were able to break records and raise $2,500 for Martha’s Table, as well as distribute scarves to support their work in the community. Additionally, I helped to coordinate a volunteer shift that involved food preparation, such as chopping fruits and vegetables, to assist with the meals that D.C Central Kitchen distributes for the week.

Overall, my time at Georgetown University provided me a comprehensive education that not only equipped me with the technical and business skills I need to succeed in my career but also exposed me to diverse perspectives and experiences that will serve me well in my personal and professional life.
